AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITY PROGRAM (ASAP)
Population Served
At Oak Terrace School - students afternoon kindergarten through fifth grade
attending Wayne Thomas and Oak Terrace Schools
At Indian Trail School - students afternoon kindergarten through fifth grade
attending Indian Trail, Lincoln School and Ravinia School
Facility
Oak Terrace School, 240 Paririe Ave., HP - two adjacent classrooms accommodating
up to 25 students each, school gym, and outdoor playground area and fields
Indian Trail School, 2075 St. Johns Ave., HP - one classroom at the northwest
corner of the building, school gym, outdoor playground

ASAP Fees
Monthly tuition to be paid on the 15th of the month prior to the month of
attendance (i.e. on August 15th for the month of September):
- 5 days/ week: $320
- 4 days/ week: $270
- 3 days/week: $210
Fee assistance and scholarships are available. Application required.
Registration
Forms for each upcoming school year are sent home with students at each school
served. Current ASAP families receive these forms during the third week of
January. New ASAP families receive forms during the first week of February.
Registration is on a first come, first served basis. A registration fee
($25 each returning student, and $50 for each new student) is required.
Our Indian Trail site is currently full and a wait-list has been established.

History
Family Network's After School Activity Program (ASAP) originated at the beginning
of the 2004-2005 school year in collaboration with North Shore School District 112
to meet the needs of working parents. District 112 allocated one classroom at
Wayne Thomas School for ASAP's first school year. A measure of our success was
increased demand for the subsequent year when a classroom was added at Indian Trail
School. For the 2007-2008 school year, space for a second classroom at our Wayne
Thomas site has been allocated.
Additional ASAP Information
- Full Days
ASAP offers full day programs (8 a.m. - 6 p.m.) at the additional charge of $50 per day on the following days when there is no school: 9/13, 10/8, 11/6, 11/19, 11/20, 1/21, 2/5, 2/18, 4/10, 4/11, 6/9 and 6/10 Lunch and two snacks are provided.
- Early Dismissals
On early dismissal days, ASAP operates from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at no additional charge: 9/25, 10/23, 1/31, 4/9, 4/16, 5/15.
- Transportation
District 112 provides after school bus transportation from Ravinia and Lincoln Schools to Indian Trail, and from Oak Terrace to Wayne Thomas. There is no charge for this service.
- Snacks
A daily nutritious snack is provided.
