Family Network has a diverse and experienced group of professionals with the majority of staff holding Bachelors and Masters Degrees in the fields of education, social work and family services.
The leadership team of Family Network includes:

Center Director
Jordan Friedman holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Adjunct Clinical Faculty at the University Of Washington Graduate School Of Social Work and is a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers. He has been working with children and families for over 20 years and has been the Center Director of Family Network since 2005.

Office Manager
Sonia Calles holds a Bachelor’s degree from Shimer College and has been Office Manager for Family Network since 2002.

Program Coordinator, Parent/Child Center
Terry Beem holds a Master's Degree in Child Development from the Erikson Institute, and has worked with children and families for over 35 years. She has been Parent/Child Center Program Coordinator since 1997.

Program Coordinator, Right From The Start
Nora Barquín received her PhD in Biology from the Faculty of Sciences, National Autonomous University of Mexico in Mexico City (1998) and a MSW from Loyola University of Chicago (2002). She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has been the Right From The Start Program Coordinator at Family Network since 2002.

Program Coordinator, After School Activity Program
Bobbie Hinden holds a Masters Degree in the field of Education from American University. She has worked with children for over 30 years, primarily as a special education teacher, but also in the retail and wholesale ends of children's literature and as a school volunteer. She has been the After School Activity Program Coordinator at Family Network since 2007.
